IT’S OK TO CRY
There will be times on your Journey to Motherhood where you just want to be alone and all you can do is cry. THAT. IS. OK.!! Do not go along this journey thinking that it’s NOT OK to cry. Doing so does not make you weak or any less of a Christian! It just makes you human. It is OK to cry and have a moment (or even a day). Just don’t stay in that place too long. As a woman struggling to conceive, I know firsthand how hard it can be to have joy. Change Your Perspective…
One of the greatest (and hardest) lessons I’ve learned while on this journey to fertility, is changing my perspective. As a woman trying to get pregnant I never considered that I could have a different perspective. After all, I was unable to to conceive a child and it sucked…. So in my mind I thought that was the only perspective to have. I thought that how I saw my situation was the only way to see it. But I was so very wrong. There is ALWAYS another perspective….
